I’m an award-winning Author, Storyteller, and Marketer with a passion for all things language.
About me
I use content to create a meaningful connection with the audience.
As a journalist, I spent my days in a hyperlocal startup newsroom, sniffing out the human interest stories that mattered most. That work was recognized by the North Carolina Press Association. I also spent some time overseeing the publication, editing, and scheduling processes at an NPR affiliate station.
When I moved into digital marketing, I began creating content tailored to several industries, including food and drink, lifestyle, real estate, and finance. That same work got featured in high-quality publications that your parents definitely read (like Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Newsweek, and NPR, just to name a few) and was recognized by organizations the marketing folks definitely know (like The Drum Awards, US Search Awards, and PR Daily).
Today, I’m a freelance writer who works closely with every client to produce outstanding content of all types, including digital marketing materials, website copy, blog copy, speeches, and TED talks. I’ve even worked on congressional testimonies and written an award-winning speech for a college president, so the sky is truly the limit.
Whether your goal is to tug at your audience’s heartstrings or create a compelling blog post, I’ll help you get there.
When I’m not telling a story, you’ll find me reading a good book, lounging in the park, or eating my way through London. On really good days, you’ll find me boarding a plane to somewhere new.
